100 Haikus about Boris Becker’s Breakfast is the third and most inventive of Morbid Books’ experimental haiku collections, released to coincide with the tennis season.
With tennis legend Boris Becker as their inspiration, Lewis Parker and his friends continue their reinvention of the form that began with the surreal Christmas stocking filler, 100 Haikus about Haemorrhoid Cream.
This time they’ve gone even further by adding another constraint: alliteration. Not just nouns and adjectives, but every word begins with the letter B.
As such, this imagining of Boris Becker’s breakfast is absolutely bananas, bonkers, brilliant, bodacious and brazen.
